Actual Salary £16,889 - £17,571 per annum
A willingness to work flexibly within the team is essential, as are strong organisational, time management and customer service skills. Ideally, having previously worked in a finance environment, the successful candidate may have experience of ordering and invoice procedures, excellent accuracy and attention to detail and a good level of IT skills. They should be willing to undertake further training relevant to the post and be adaptable and open to change. As a Finance Assistant, you will work as part of the Finance Team in order to provide a high quality, efficient, effective and supportive finance service.
You will be responsible for placing orders, ensuring the goods have been received, processing purchase invoices, raising sales invoices and processing income received into the bank. This is a varied role and you will need to think on your feet and be a fast learner.
