We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative teacher to work within our excellent Geography department. Each member of the department is seen as an integral part of the team, working together, sharing ideas and developing resources cohesively. As a member of our team, you will be passionate about your teaching and committed to improving your own practice alongside like-minded professionals to ensure a high-quality learning environment for all. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range, up to and including GCSE, and may also be required to teach other Humanities subjects at Key Stage 3.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the forward-looking and ambitious leadership team at Lincroft Academy.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual with real commitment and drive, to join the Senior Leadership Team in their pursuit of continual school improvement.

The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of raising standards and be able to demonstrate the impact of their current leadership role on school improvement. Our aim is to move beyond being a good school and to develop an outstanding provision for our students, and this Deputy Principal role will play an important part in this ambition.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to students’ well-being and who understands fully the difference that care, guidance and support can make to the lives and futures of young people.

As Deputy Principal you will be the lead professional in the strategic development of all pastoral aspects of the academy, working closely with the Principal.

An outstanding practitioner, you will be required to fulfil a reduced teaching commitment in your area of specialism whilst meeting the requirements specified in the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and Teachers’ Standards. In addition, you will be required to fulfil any reasonable expectations of the Academy Principal.

The post will require you to work in partnership with the Academy Principal, governors, staff, students, parents and the local community to ensure the continuous improvement and
effective operation of the academy.
