At Lincroft, we like to keep parents informed and supported through their journey with us.
Research shows that parental involvement in children’s learning is a key factor in improving children’s academic attainment and achievements, as well as their overall behaviour and attendance. If you would like to read more about this research please visit the Department for Education website.
Please read the pages in this section to learn how Lincroft supports parents in getting involved in their children’s learning.
To ensure we can contact you please make sure your details are up to date by contacting the school with any changes at the earliest opportunity.

We have the facility in school to contact parents more quickly and efficiently by email or text using a system called 'In-Touch'.
We will use email, Facebook and Twitter to advise parents of the following:
- Emergency notifications such as school closures
- Assessment and exam date reminders
- Changes to meetings and after school events
- Parents evenings
- Upcoming school events
- Invitations to a meeting
- General information about what is going on at school and newsletters
Email, Facebook and Twitter are our preferred methods of reaching all parents simultaneously, so it is important that your contact information is kept ‘up to date’. Please ensure that the school office (firstname.lastname@example.org) has your current email address and mobile telephone number, and inform us immediately if this number changes.
